Dr. Shawn Wasson Pastor
Shawn has been the pastor of Bethany since 2003. He has served churches in Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, and Texas. Shawn is a graduate of the University of Missouri St. Louis, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Sarah Wasson, and they have one daughter.
Shawn is involved in police chaplaincy serving three departments in Cape Girardeau County. He writes a weekly column in the Southeast Missourian.

jerry huskey music minister
Jerry has been the music minister at Bethany since 1992. Before coming to Bethany, he was the music minister at Red Star Baptist Church for 8 years and Oakland Baptist Church in DeSoto, Missouri for 2 years. He is involved in the Awana program and in Vacation Bible School as well as a member of the finance committee and the church council.
Jerry and his wife Mary have 2 sons, 3 grandsons, and 3 granddaughters.
jason huskey contemporary worship leader
Jason has been leading worship at Bethany since 2004. He has been involved in music ministry since he was a teenager. It's his belief that a worship leader should strive to eliminate distractions during worship so that the church can truly show God their adoration. He has a loving wife and three wonderful children.
